Shropshire Sustainable Tourism Business Grant Scheme
This grant scheme, funded through Advantage West Midlands and administered by Shropshire Council, can give eligible businesses up to £12,000 for a range of revenue and capital projects.
What this could mean for your business:
- A new website or improvements to your existing website – availability systems, search engine optimisation, design, photography, copywriting and so on
- A bespoke marketing review undertaken by tourism marketing professionals that recommends ways in which to develop your business further
- New print material such as brochures, leaflets, letter headed paper or business cards
- Building work on new buildings, or conversion of existing buildings
- En-suite facilities for your serviced accommodation
- Laundry facilities for your self catering business
- Equine tourism facilities
Eligible businesses include:
- Accommodation businesses, including pubs
- Visitor Attractions
- Conference and meetings businesses that attract visitors to stay
- Tourism activity providers e.g. cycle hire, equestrian, walking
- Food & Drink producers – where grant is to increase tourism potential
- Craft/artisan businesses – where grant is to increase tourism potential
This grant scheme is available to businesses in Shropshire's Rural Regeneration Zone.
